Students at Haverdale International School have the right to:

Be treated with dignity and free from discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment.
Have their educational records kept confidential in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Express concerns or complaints through established procedures and receive a fair and timely resolution.
Student Responsibilities
Students share in maintaining a positive and respectful academic community and are expected to:
Conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the school’s mission and policies.
Attend classes regularly and participate actively in the learning process.
Respect the rights, safety, and property of others, and follow all local, state, and federal laws.
Refrain from disruptive or harassing behavior and uphold standards of academic honesty.
Communicate promptly with instructors or administrators about academic or personal issues affecting performance.
Comply with institutional regulations regarding attendance, payments, and academic integrity.
The Program administration seeks to prevent general grievances and complaints by ensuring that students are satisfied with the Program services.
If a student is unhappy with any service both academic and non-academic related, a student has the right to access complaints policy and procedure.

Formal Complaints are stored in the School Complaint Log in the Office of Executive Director.
A written complaint submitted with a complainant’s signature and date of submittal*, is brought to the attention of Executive Director, who will work with the student and all parties involved to resolve the matter.
